Hi, I am Deana Deitchler, owner of The Dogs Paw. I have been grooming for over 13 years. I am a strong believer in education, so I am a member of many grooming associations and I am working on my certification with the ISCC and the NDGAA. I attend many workshops and grooming seminars to keep my skills up to date and be inspired by some of the best groomers in the industry. At the Dogs Paw a large, well lit, open space provides a comfortable working environment for me to do what I love everyday. I am fortunate to have great employees and family helping me provide the high level of care that I expect. I am excited to invite my current customers and many new ones out to see The Dogs Paw!

Kiley Coborn Larson, Groomer
Kiley groomed in Bemidji and the Park Rapids areas. She is has been here for over 3 years and we are very happy to have her kindness here at the Dogs Paw!
Kiley is currently working 3 days a week.
Georgia Shofner, Groomer
Georgia has been a groomer in the Twin Cities for 11 years. She truly loves dogs and feels like every dog she grooms she gets to know and they feel like they are one of her own. She worked at Pet Images in Lake Elmo, MN for over 10 years and moved to Osage to be closer to her aging parents.
She is a very accomplished groomer, she won 1st place in a grooming competition on her own Golden Retreiver.
She also has a passion for dog food and nutrition.
Kelly Baarstad, Groomer
Kelly was hired in 2009 as an assistant. She soon became very interested in grooming a learned to become a very good groomer. She is very talented and very natural with the dogs. She has had experince with 4 H dogs when she was in high school.
Kelly has attended the Grooming show in Chicago for 2 years and assisted Deana with her competition dogs in 2010.
Kelly is also a massage therepist and presently works just one day per week.
Micah Yliniemi, Groomer
Micah came to work at Dogs Paw in 2010. She did a very nice job as a student groomer and is now a groomer. She has many years of training and breeding expereice.
After returning from maternity leave in 2011 she works one day a week.
Susan Fiste, Certified Master Groomer
Sue has been grooming since Sept. of 1977. She accomplished her National All Breed Master Groomer title in one weekend. She takes great pride in her career and loves being with all animals. She is very happy to see all the changes and improvements in the pet care industry during her many years of grooming.
Dean Andress, Customer Service & Trainer
Dean will more than likely be the friendly voice you hear when you call. Dean is a true dog lover, he has an extensive background with breeding, training and showing dogs. He moved back to the Park Rapids area a few years ago from Duluth, and we are very lucky to have on staff here.
Dean provides on site training all year long. Training is available either on an individual basis or group sessions are available during seasons when outdoor classes can be held.
